My path to executive career strategy began with language, education, and the way people communicate their ideas. It grew through applied linguistics, translation, and coaching—and now connects to a clear purpose: preparing leaders to articulate their value and pursue their next executive mandate.
Education & Coaching Qualifications
1984–1987
Licenciatura Plena em Letras — Português/Inglês
Centro Universitário de Barra Mansa
My first academic chapter brought Portuguese, English, and teacher preparation together. It established the language and education foundation that runs through my work today. When an executive explains a complex achievement or prepares for a consequential conversation, the challenge is familiar: make the meaning clear, and help the audience understand why it matters.
2005–2007
Postgraduate Studies in Applied Linguistics & Translation
Faculdade Salesianas — Macaé
Postgraduate study deepened my work with language through applied linguistics and translation. It connected communication theory with practical questions of meaning, context, and audience. That foundation is especially relevant when a leader must translate years of specialized experience into a narrative that someone outside their organization can understand.
2014–2015
Personal & Professional Coaching
Sociedade Brasileira de Coaching
The next chapter focused on personal and professional development. Coaching brought direction, reflection, and growth into the conversation. In my current practice, this means making room for the person behind the résumé: their ambitions, the contribution they want to make, and the choices that will shape their next chapter.
2015–2016
Executive & Business Coaching
Sociedade Brasileira de Coaching
Executive and business coaching added an organizational perspective. A leader’s next move involves responsibilities, relationships, expectations, and the environment in which they will perform. This chapter connects individual development with the business context—an essential part of evaluating whether an executive mandate is aligned with a professional’s direction.
2016–2017
Extreme / Positive Coaching
Sociedade Brasileira de Coaching
Positive psychology added another dimension to coaching and development: attention to strengths and the resources a person brings to a challenge. In executive career work, that perspective supports a practical conversation about capability, confidence, and evidence—what the leader has already demonstrated and how to communicate it clearly.
2017–2018
Career Coaching
Sociedade Brasileira de Coaching
Career coaching connected these earlier foundations with competencies, skills, and professional advancement. It brought the focus toward career direction and readiness for a next opportunity. Today, that connection appears in the work of defining a target mandate, building an executive narrative, and preparing to discuss the contribution a leader can make.

The Thread Through My Work
My professional story began with language. Studying Portuguese and English brought together communication, education, and teacher preparation. Later, postgraduate studies in applied linguistics and translation deepened that foundation: how meaning travels across languages and contexts, and how we make ourselves understood.
The next chapter brought that foundation into coaching. My qualifications in personal development, executive and business coaching, positive psychology, and career advancement connected communication with leadership and professional growth. Today, that thread runs through my work with executives: clarifying their direction, articulating their value, and preparing for the conversations that shape their next mandate.
Learning in Practice
Chapter One — Finding the meaning in experience
My studies in language and education form the earliest chapter of this story. They connect to a question at the center of executive positioning: how do we make complex experience understandable? A career can contain years of decisions, challenges, and accomplishments. The task is to select the evidence that communicates leadership clearly. I bring that communication focus into the résumé, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, and interview preparation—so each part helps a decision-maker understand the same professional direction.
Chapter Two — Translating value for a new audience
Applied linguistics and translation extended my foundation into meaning across contexts. That connection matters when an executive moves between organizations or industries. Language that is clear inside one company may be unfamiliar outside it. In my work today, we examine how to explain the scope, decisions, and results behind a role. The aim is a narrative that remains faithful to the experience while making its relevance clear to the audience and opportunity ahead.
Chapter Three — Connecting the leader with the mandate
Personal, executive, and business coaching brought human development and organizational behavior into this foundation. They connect the professional’s aspirations with the setting in which leadership happens. I bring that perspective to questions about scope, responsibility, relationships, and the contribution an executive wants to make. Before we shape the message, we clarify the direction. That creates a basis for positioning that reflects both the leader’s experience and the mandate they intend to pursue.
Chapter Four — Turning direction into a next move
Positive coaching and career coaching connected the earlier chapters with strengths, competencies, and advancement. In my practice, direction becomes more useful when it can be expressed through evidence and purposeful action. We identify what the executive can substantiate, where their presence needs to become clearer, and which conversations deserve preparation. These foundations inform the work of building visibility and authority, then pursuing opportunities aligned with the leader’s experience and ambitions.
My Approach Today
Clarify the direction
Begin with the leadership mandate the professional wants to pursue. Establish the responsibilities, context, and contribution that would make the next move meaningful.
Connect experience with evidence
Translate professional experience into a clear narrative supported by concrete examples. Bring that narrative into the résumé, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, and conversations.
Build a coherent presence
Connect visibility and authority across channels. Help the professional communicate a consistent leadership direction wherever decision-makers encounter their work.
Prepare for the conversation
Use reflection and preparation to support high-stakes conversations. Connect the professional’s experience and intended contribution with the needs of an aligned opportunity.
From Learning to Practice
